For the state industrial school at Rochester, under chapter six hundred and thirty-one, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for bakery building and storehouse, three thousand two hundred and seventy-one dollars (re. $3,271); for furnishings, four thousand seven hundred and nine dollars and seventy-five cents (re. $4,709.75); for reception-house and hospital, nine thousand one hundred and sixty dollars and fifteen cents (re. $9,160.15); for roads, one thousand and twenty-one dollars and twenty-nine cents (re. $1,021.29); for sixteen cottages and sixteen barns, thirtyeight thousand three hundred and eighty-three dollars and twentyeight cents (re. $38,383.28); under chapter seven hundred and twenty-nine, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for repairs and equipment, four hundred and forty-six dollars and eighty-seven cents (re. $446.87.)

For the Rome state custodial asylum at Rome, under chapter seven hundred and twenty-seven, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for addition to laundry, eight hundred and ninety-one dollars and fifty-nine cents (re. $891.59); for repairs and equipment, one hundred and twenty-two dollars and fifteen cents (re. $122.15); for ward building J, thirty-two thousand six hundred and seventy-six dollars and ninety-nine cents (re. $32,676.99); for wiring in cottages C, D, and E, six hundred and eighty-two dollars and twenty-eight cents (re. $682.28); under chapter seven hundred and twenty-nine, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for fruit and shade trees, four hundred and twenty dollars and thirtyone cents (re. $420.31); for ice pond, two hundred and seventyseven dollars and twenty-two cents (re. $277.22).

For the New York state institution for feeble-minded children at Syracuse, under chapter six hundred and fifty-two, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for plumbing improvements and shower baths, eight hundred and fifty-seven dollars and sixty-two cents (re. $857.62).

The following unexpended balances of former appropriations are hereby reappropriated for the purposes stated, as follows, namely:

For the western house of refuge for women at Albion, under chapter seven hundred and twenty-nine, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for spray baths and bathrooms, three hundred and thirty-three dollars and thirty-six cents (re. $333.36), to be reappropriated for the purchase of a suitable office safe.

For the New York state school for the blind at Batavia, under chapter seven hundred and nineteen, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for plumbing in laundry, two hundred and forty-eight dollars and thirteen cents (re. $248.13), and for steam main in kitchen, one hundred and twenty-six dollars and seventy-seven cents (re. $126.77), to be reappropriated for cement walks.

For the New York state soldiers' and sailors' home at Bath, under chapter six hundred and fifty-eight, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for replacing coils in barracks G, one hundred and twenty-two dollars and forty-five cents (re. $122.45), to be reappropriated for installing check-valves on discharge from each of forty-six traps; under chapter seven hundred and three, laws of nineteen hundred and five, for equipping the boiler-room, seventeen hundred and nine dollars and forty-two cents (re. $1,709.42), to be reappropriated for washing machine for hospital, setting engine to run the same, installing galvanized iron fire line in vonvalescent barracks with reel, hose, valves and nozzle; for centrifugal pump at sewer-house, removal of engine and repairing the same.

For the New York state reformatory for women at Bedford, under chapter seven hundred and twenty-nine, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for extension of coal shed, one hundred and forty dollars (re. $140), to be reappropriated for installing heater and shower bath in disciplinary building.

For the New York state reformatory at Elmira, under chapter six hundred and fifty-six, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for completing domestic building, twenty-two thousand and fifty dollars and fifty-seven cents (re. $22,050.57), to be reappropriated for completing domestic building and equipping the same; under

chapter seven hundred and twenty-nine, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for smoke stack, seven hundred and ninety-eight dollars and sixty-three cents (re. $798.63), to be reappropriated for plumbing; under chapter one hundred and forty-five, laws of nineteen hundred and five, for buildings and equipment destroyed by fire, of the unexpended balance, twenty thousand dollars (re. $20,000), to be reappropriated for trade school building; under chapter seven hundred, laws of nineteen hundred and five, for repairs and rebuilding domestic building, thirteen thousand six hundred and seventeen dollars and thirteen cents (re. $13,617.13), to be reappropriated for repairs and rebuilding domestic building and equipping the same; for spillway, nine hundred and fiftyfive dollars and four cents (re. $955.04), to be reappropriated for plumbing.

For the New York state woman's relief corps home at Oxford, under chapter seven hundred and twenty, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for alterations in kitchen, two hundred and six dollars and fourteen cents (re. $206.14), and for summer line in conduit, five hundred dollars (re. $500), to be reappropriated for repairs and equipment. For the superintendency and management of said institution two months during March and April two hundred and fifty dollars ($250), to be reappropriated out of maintenance.

For the society for the reformation of juvenile delinquents in the city of New York for the New York house of refuge on Randall's Island, under chapter seven hundred and twenty-nine, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for repairs to main wall, repointing, et cetera, eight hundred and two dollars and seventy-five cents (re. $802.75), to be reappropriated for repairs and equipment.

For the New York state hospital for the treatment of incipient pulmonary tuberculosis at Ray Brook, under chapter seven hundred and three, laws of nineteen hundred and five, for tents, grading, water, sewer connections, five thousand four hundred and sixty-five dollars and sixty cents (re. $5,465.60), to be reappropriated for equipment.

For the Rome state custodial asylum at Rome, under chapter seven hundred and twenty-nine, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for vegetable storehouse, twelve hundred dollars (re. $1,200), to be reappropriated for constructing an icehouse; under chapter seven hundred and three, laws of nineteen hundred and five, dormitory buildings, fifty-nine thousand one hundred and thirty dollars and ninety-nine cents (rc. $59,130.99), to be reappropriated for dormitory buildings and equipping the same.

For the Craig colony for epilepties at Sonyea, under chapter seven hundred and twenty-nine, laws of nineteen hundred and four, for sheds for sheep, one thousand dollars (re. $1,000), to be reappropriated for repairs and equipment.

FISCAL SUPERVISOR OF STATE CHARITIES.

To reimburse the fund for books, blanks, printing, traveling and other expenses, for expenditures made on account of the purchasing committee of state charitable institutions, five hundred dollars ($500), or so much thereof as may be necessary.

MISCELLANEOUS.

For the department of New York grand army of the republic, for incidental office expenses, including postage, printing, telegraph and telephone charges, fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500), or so much thereof as may be necessary.

For the New York monuments' commission for the battlefields of Gettysburg and Chattanooga, twelve thousand dollars ($12,000), for payment of engineer and secretary and necessary employees, and for such other expenses as may be required for the work of said commission, including actual and necessary traveling and other contingent expenses incurred by said commissioners in the discharge of their duties, and for compensation for their services, as provided for in section six of chapter three hundred and seventy-one of the laws of eighteen hundred and ninety-four, and the provisions of chapter two hundred and sixty-nine of the laws of eighteen hundred and eighty-seven.

For the New York monuments' commission for the battlefields of Gettysburg and Chattanooga, ten thousand dollars ($10,000), being balance of the sum of twelve thousand five hundred dollars authorized and provided for by chapter four hundred and nineteen of the laws of nineteen hundred and two, for the erection of a suitable monument and markers to the memory of the New York troops that took part in the campaign and siege of Vicksburg, said money to be paid by the treasurer on the warrant of the comptroller upon proper vouchers duly certified by the presiding officer of said board of commissioners.

The sum of three hundred and twenty-four dollars and seventy cents (re. $324.70), being the unexpended balance of the appropriation made by chapter seven hundred and thirty of the laws of nineteen hundred and four, for the necessary expenses of the

commission appointed to select site for the New York state training school for boys, to be located in the second judicial district, for surveying and mapping the lands of such site, and for the traveling expenses of the members of the commission while engaged in the performance of the duties as such, is hereby reappropriated for the same purpose.

For the expenses of the salary classification commission under section seventeen of the finance law, including necessary stenographic and clerical services, the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary.

For the commissioners of the Jamestown ter-centennial exposi tion, the sum of sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000), of which twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) shall be available during the current fiscal year, and the balance during the succeeding fiscal year, to be expended by said commissioners for the purposes authorized by chapter seven hundred and twenty-one of the laws of nineteen hundred and five.

For Neile F. Towner, attorney for John S. McEwan, judgment for costs rendered against John F. O'Brien, secretary of state, in favor of John S. McEwan, in a proceedings* entitled in the matter of the objections to the certificate of nomination of the Social democratic party, the sum of two hundred and sixty-seven dollars and sixty cents ($267.60).

In addition to the unexpended balance of four hundred and eighteen dollars and fifty cents (re. $418.50), of the appropriation made by chapter two hundred and three of the laws of eighteen hundred and ninety, and reappropriated by chapter seven hundred and twenty-nine of the laws of nineteen hundred and four, to provide for the expenses of the board of commissioners for the promotion of uniformity of legislation in the United States, which is hereby reappropriated, for the same purpose, the sum of one thousand five hundred eighty-one dollars and fifty cents ($1,581.50), is hereby appropriated for the same purpose payable by the comptroller to the commissioners, for the promotion of uniformity of legislation in the United States, or either of them, subject to the audit of the comptroller, to provide for such expenses as may be incurred by such commissioners, or either of them.
