Joint Resolution authorizing the Chief Executive of these Islands to petition the Federal Government of the United States to coöperate and negotiate with the Government of Spain for the payment and refund of the sum of three hundred and fourteen thousand seven hundred and seventy-eight pesos and twenty-five and one-eighth centimos of the earthquake funds of eighteen hundred and sixty-three, and recommending that he do so, and for other purposes.
