Annual Index to Periodicals.

THReviews."

HIS invaluable publication sprang directly from the "Review of Reviews." It is a classified subject-index of all the important articles that appear in the periodicals of the English-speaking world. Even where there is no opportunity of referring to the original articles owing to the absence of a good library, the index is most suggestive, if only as affording a handy guide to a list of the persons who have written upon any given subject, the titles of their articles, and the dates at which they appeared.

For those who have access to libraries containing the bound periodicals of the English-speaking world, it is invaluable. In that mighty maze without a plan, the index is an unfailing clue by which the student can find his way at once to the article which he seeks.

The ANNUAL INDEX is universally admitted to be the best work in its line ever published, and "an absolutely indispensable work of reference" for Librarians, Booksellers, Journalists, Clergymen, and all Contributors to the Literature of our time.

The whole set of these Indexes (with the exception of the Volume for 1892), from the year 1890 to 1901, can be supplied at 15s. each.
