Those who teach both English and German receive $25 additional, and all teachers of German only, who teach part of a day in one building and part in another, receive $25 additional. Teachers of pupils studying German in the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades receive $600 per annum maximum. Substitutes in primary grades receive $2 per day; in grammar grades, $2.50 per day, and in the high school $4 per day.
