After a teacher has been with us one year she receives $760 a year, or $63.33 per calendar month. The pay is the same, without regard to the grade taught. The exceptions are, first, that the first assistant in a large building receives $45 a year more, and, second, the teachers of beginners, when they take charge of two schools or over 70 pupils, receive an addition of 25 per cent.
