E quibus Walterus Skirlaw qui floruit circa annum 1390, vt in libro Dunelmensi legitur, Campanile huius ecclesiæ summæ magnitudinis construxit, vt si fortuita aquarum eueniret inundatio, incolis esset perfugium.
