A BILL To declare Lincoln's birthday a legal holiday.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the 12th day of February in each year, being the day celebrated and known as Abraham Lincoln's birthday, is hereby made a public and legal holiday to all intents and purposes in the same manner as the 22d day of February is now made by law a legal holiday.
