CHAPTER 1
(H. B. No. 1.)

AN ACT

ENTITLED AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE PAYMENT OF
OFFICERS, MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES AND FOR THE
GENERAL EXPENSES OF THE TWELFTH SESSION OF
THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, AND DE-
CLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREBY THIS ACT SHALL
GO INTO EFFECT IMMEDIATELY ON ITS APPROVAL.
Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

SECTION 1. That the sum of Sixty-two thousand dollars ($62,000.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary, be, and the same is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the general fund of the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of paying the compensation due the officers, members and employees, and for the general expenses of the Twelfth Session of the Legislature of the State of Idaho: Provided, That after all expenses of the said Twelfth Session of the Legislature of the State of Idaho are paid, any and all money of this appropriation remaining as a surplus appropriation shall revert back to the said general fund of the State Treasury.

SEC. 2. That the State Auditor is hereby authorized and directed upon the presentation to him of the certificate of the presiding officer of the House of which the person therein named is a member, officer, or employee that the person mentioned in the certificate is entitled to compensation to the amount therein stated, to draw his warrant on the general fund of the State Treasury for the amount so certified as due; and also to draw his warrant on the general fund for the general expenses of each House of the Legislature during the said Twelfth Session, upon the receipt by him. from time to time of the certificate of the presiding officer thereof stating the amount due and to whom payable.

SEC. 3. Whereas an emergency exists therefor, this Act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval by the Governor.
