OF PRACTICAL CHEMISTRY ARRANGED FOR THE USE OF MEDICAL STUDENTS. BY WILLIAM ODLING, M.B., F. R.S. FELLOW OF THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS: LECTURER ON CHEMISTRY AT ST. BARTHOLOMEW'S HOSPITAL. FOURTH EDITION. LONDON: LONGMANS, GREEN, AND CO. PREFACE ΤΟ THE FOURTH FOURTH EDITION. In this Fourth Edition of a Course of Practical Chemistry, arranged for the use of medical students, several minor improvements, suggested by further experience in teaching, have been effected. The analytical portion of the work, in so far as regards the description of the methods employed, has been rearranged. The new system of atomic weights and formulæ has been employed throughout; but it has not been thought necessary to introduce any general changes in the nomenclature. ST. BARTHOLOMEW'S HOSPITAL: May, 1869. W. O. |
