Characters good and bad, with Promises and Threats.

ODLINESS in Heart and Life. Pf. xxxii. 6. For this fhall every godly one pray unto thee.

2 Cor. i. 12. Our rejoicing is this, the Teftimony of our Confcience, that in Simplicity and godly Sincerity, not by fleshly Wisdom, but by the Grace of God we have had our Converfation in the World.

vii. 9. Ye were made forry [for Sin] after a godly Manner. Ver:

xi. 2. Paul faid, I am jealous over you with a godly Jealousy.

Righteousness.

7. Righteoufness required. Deut. vi. 25. It fhall be our Righteousness if we obferve to do all thefe Commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.

Dan. iv. 27. Break off thy Sins by Righteousness.

xiii. 9. The Light of the Righteous rejoiceth, but the Lamp of the Wicked shall be put out.
