Gomez de la Cortina et amicorum" and below his motto "Fallitur hora legendo"; doublure of vellum, gilt-tooled inside dentelle borders of red and blue morocco, centre ornaments, gilt edges, by Schaefer.

The binding is probably the richest ever executed by Schaefer for the Marquis de Morante.
