MISCELLANEOUS.

SEC. 5. That the following sums, if so much be necessary, be, and the same are hereby, appropriated for miscellaneous exPreparing Acts penses, namely: For preparing for the printer, indexing and making marginal notes of the Acts and Joint Resolutions of the regular session of the General Assembly of 1893, to be done under the supervision of the State Reporter, two hundred and fifty dollars.

When to take effect.

SEC. 6. That the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives, respectively, shall furnish pay certificates for the amount of per diem and mileage due to each member of the Senate and House of Representatives, and the amounts herein appropriated, to each officer and employee of that branch of the General Assembly to which such officer and employee shall respectively belong, signed by the respective officer, and properly attested by the Clerks of such branch of the General Assembly.

SEC. 7. That this Act shall take effect from and immediately after its date of approval; and all Acts or parts of Acts inconRepealing sistent with the provisions of this Act be, and the same are, for the purposes of this Act, hereby repealed.

No. 309. AN ACT TO AMEND AN ACT ENTITLED "AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR A LICENSE FOR THE SALE OF PISTOLS OR PISTOL CARTRIDGES WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THIS STATE."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting A. A. 1890, $2, in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That Section 2 of an Act entitled "An Act to provide for a license for the sale of pistols or pistol cartridges within the limits of Amendment. this State" be amended by striking out the words "two hundred," in the sixth line thereof, and inserting in lieu thereof the words "twenty-five." So that said Section when so amended shall read as follows and all Acts amendatory thereof:

SECTION 2. That the County Commissioners of the several Counties of the State be, and they are hereby, authorized to issue licenses in their respective Counties for the sale of pistols

and pistol cartridges upon the payment to County Treasurer by the person or corporation so applying for said licenses of the sum of twenty-five dollars annually.

OR WILD TURKEYS IN BEAUFORT COUNTY," APPROVED
DECEMBER 22ND, 1892, SHALL APPLY TO ALL THE COUN-
TIES OF THE STATE.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That A. A. 1892, ante an Act entitled "An Act for the further protection of partridges, quails, woodcock, pheasants, deer and wild turkeys in the County of Beaufort" be, and the same is hereby, amended by striking out all after the enacting clause and inserting the following: That an Act entitled "An Act for the further protection Extended to of partridges, quail, woodcock, pheasant, deer and wild turkeys in the County of Beaufort" be amended by striking out the words "County of Beaufort" whenever they occur in the Act or in the title thereof and inserting "State" in lieu thereof. SEC. 2. That said Commissioner be, and he is hereby, authorized and instructed to embody in the said volumes, without alteration or amendment, such Acts and Joint Resolutions passed and approved at the present session of the General Assembly of a general and permanent character.

That the said Commissioner be, and he is hereby, authorized to enumerate the subdivisions of said Statutes and said Code, and all such Acts and parts of Acts, Joint Resolutions and parts of Joint Resolutions as he may embody therein, correcting any enumerations in Sections of the said Statutes and Necessary Code as may become necessary by reason of any change or changes therein by action of the General Assembly, either in expunging Sections or in adding Sections during the passage thereof, or by the embodying therein of Acts or Joint Resolutions, or parts thereof, as aforesaid.

SEC. 4. That the said Commissioner shall include in said volumes a complete annotation of the decisions of the Supreme Court of this State construing any portion of said Statutes or of said Code, or of said Constitutions and Rules of Court.

SEC. 5. That the State Printer shall furnish the entire edition, to wit, two thousand copies thereof, to the Secretary of State, who shall furnish each member of the General Assembly with a copy thereof bound in calf, distribute and provide for the sale of the remaining copies thereof in the same manner as the distribution and sale of the General Statutes of 1882 was provided for in an Act entitled "An Act to provide for the distribution and sale of the General Statutes of the State," approved February 9, A. D. 1882: Provided, That the Secretary of State shall deliver to the State Librarian a sufficient number of said volumes bound in calf to make exchanges with other States and Territories and to supply the officers and libraries designated in Section 40 of the General Statutes and in the Acts amending the same, except
