Said officers and employees shall be appointed by, and shall serve during the pleasure of the President of the State Board of Agriculture. Veterinary Bureau-Powers-Duties. Section 2. All the powers, duties and functions of the State Veterinary Department, the Bovine Tubercular Department, the Sheep and Cattle Scab Department and the Hog Cholera Department are hereby transferred to, and made a part of, the powers, duties and functions of the State Veterinary Bureau, which Bureau is hereby created in the Department of Agriculture. The State Veterinarian shall be the head of said Bureau. President State Board of Agriculture-Appointments. Section 3. That Section 2, Chapter 92, Senate Bill No. 238, Session Laws, 1923, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 2. The President of the State Board of Agriculture. is hereby authorized to appoint a State Grain Inspector at a salary of Three Thousand ($3,000.00) Dollars, per annum, and a Stenographer and Filing Clerk at a salary of Fifteen Hundred ($1,500.00) Dollars, per annum. The salaries of said employees shall be paid out of funds appropriated therefor, monthly, upon warrants issued by the State Auditor." Same-Cotton Grader. Section 4. That Section 1, Chapter 118, Senate Bill No. 366, Session Laws of 1923, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 1. The President of the State Board of Agriculture is hereby authorized and directed to appoint a suitable person as State Cotton Grader for the State of Oklahoma, who shall have first been licensed as a grader of cotton by the Secretary of the United States Department of Agriculture and who shall also be an experienced stapler of cotton. He shall receive an annual salary of Three Thousand ($3,000.00) Dollars. The said State Board of Agriculture is hereby authorized to appoint a File Clerk and Stenographer whose salary shall be Fifteen Hundred ($1,500.00) Dollars, per annum. Said salaries of said employees shall be paid out of funds appropriated therefor, monthly, upon warrants issued by the State Auditor." Appropriation. Section 5.
