H. F. 104. CHAPTER 78. RELATING TO SALE OF FIRE ARMS TO MINORS. AN ACT to Prohibit the Selling or Giving of Fire Arms to Minors. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa: SECTION 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person to sell or give to knowingly sell, present or give any pistol, revolver or toy pistol to any minor. Unlawful to minors fire arms or toy pistols. Fine or imprisonment. Publication. SEC. 2. Any violation of this act shall be punishable by a fine of not less than twenty-five nor more than one hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail of not less than ten nor more than thirty days. SEC. 3. Publication. WHEREAS, The Honorable James D. Giffen was appointed by the governor to fill the unexpired term for one and one half months. SECTION 1. Therefore, be it enacted that the sum of two hundred and seventy-five dollars, be and the same is hereby appropriated to the Honorable John Shane as compensation for said unexpired term, and that the auditor of state be directed to draw a warrant therefor.
