SEC. 6. SEC. 7. The principal of all moneys collected under the provisions of this act, shall be paid to and held by the treasurer of state, and shall be drawn out for the purpose of investment on the order of the board of trustees, only when required to complete a loan. The interest collected shall be paid to the treasurer of the college upon the order of the board of trustees.

SEC. 8. Chapter seventy one of the acts of the fifteenth general assembly entitled "an An Act to regulate the leasing of the lands belonging to the Iowa State Agricultural College approved March 19th, 1874, and all acts and parts of acts conflicting with the provisions of this act are hereby repealed.

AN ACT to Amend Section One, Chapter One Hundred and Five, Laws of the Nineteenth General Assembly, relating to the Institution for the Deaf and Dumb.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State Iowa:

SECTION 1. That chapter one hundred and five, laws of G. A. Annual the nineteenth general assembly, be and the same is hereby from $16,000 to amended by striking out the word "sixteen" in the seventh and eighth lines of section one, and inserting the word "twentyone in lieu thereof.

AN ACT Providing for the Election of Assessor for State and County s. F. 23.
Purposes in Cities Organized and Existing under Special Charters.
[Additional to Code, Ch. 10, Title IV.]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa:

TRUSTEES OF THE STATE AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE.

AN ACT to amend [Section 1604, and to Repeal and Provide a Substitute for Section 1605 of Chapter 3, Title 12 of the Code in Relation to the Trustees of the State Agricultural College.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa:

SECTION 1. That section 1604 of the code be, and the same is, hereby amended by striking out all that portion thereof after the word "board" in the eleventh line thereof and by adding to said section in lieu thereof the following, to-wit: Of trustees consisting of one person from each congressional district of the state. But the present board of trustees shall continue as mempresent board bers of the board of trustees from their several congressional districts until their terms of office expire.
