Chap. 1.

AN ACT making an appropriation for continuing work upon the

capitol.

BECAME a law January 6, 1894, with the approval of the Governor. Passed three-fifths being present.

The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

Section 1. The sum of two hundred thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the treasury belonging to the general fund not otherwise appropriated, payable by the treasurer on the warrant of the comptroller, upon the order of the commissioner of the new capitol, for continuing work on the capitol, and the purchase of materials therefor, which shall be paid for in the manner now provided by law.

§ 2. One hundred thousand dollars of the amount appropriated when payby section one of this act, shall be payable forthwith, and the balance of said appropriation shall be payable on or after the first day of February next.

§3. This act shall take effect immediately.
