This guide book is the personal bible of most Mexican coin dealers and collectors. It has the best coverage of history and context of the coins currently in English. It also has the most pictures of coins amongst the broader coverage Mexican numismatica. Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated since 1992. For more recent coverage, Krause's North American Coins is all that is available. Beware though that prices in Krause's, especially for older material, have not been updated in many years.
